Factory
Five steps, all of them ours
A trading company owns none of the five boxes below. It owns a phone number and a margin. Sunntc owns the mould shop and the PCBA production workshop, which is the difference between a supplier who can change your product and one who has to go and ask.
Shenzhen Sunning Tension operates its own injection-mould shop and its own PCBA production workshop in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, so a wireless charger moves from industrial design through tooling, board assembly, final assembly and inspection inside the company's own buildings. Rated output is 50,000 to 450,000 pieces per month across 147 tooled models.
How a charger gets built here
Nothing in this sequence leaves our buildings, and that is the only claim on this page that matters.
Industrial design
The shape, the interface and the bill of materials, worked backwards from the ex-works price you need to hit. The first thing we check is whether one of the 147 existing moulds already fits — it is the cheapest engineering decision available on any project, and it takes a day.
Tooling
The mould is cut in our own mould shop. PVC soft rubber from USD 160 and about five working days; metal from USD 500 and about twelve; ABS plastic from USD 1,600 and about fifteen. Tooling time comes before production time, not inside it.
PCBA
Boards are placed, reflowed and tested in our own PCBA production workshop. The coil, the controller, the protection circuits and the firmware behaviour are ours to change, which is why a request for a different input port or a different foreign-object-detection threshold is a schedule question here rather than a negotiation with somebody else's factory.
Assembly
Shell, board, coil, cable and packaging brought together on our own line. The first article off the line is confirmed against the specification before the batch is allowed to run.
Inspection
Three gates — incoming raw material, in-process, and finished goods before packing. A batch that fails a gate is held by the inspector at that gate, and nobody on the production side can release it.
The mould shop, the PCBA production workshop, the assembly line and the inspection bench are all Sunning Tension's own, in Bao'an District, Shenzhen.
The mould shop
Owning the mould shop is what makes a shell change a job on our schedule instead of a favour on somebody else's.
The rack holds hundreds of existing mould styles, and 147 of the models cut from them are published in this catalogue with their specifications, minimum orders and price bands. Choosing an existing model means no tooling cost, no tooling lead time, and a shape that has already been through somebody else's production run and somebody else's returns.
If none of them fit, we cut a new one. The prices below are the ones we quote, published here so you can budget before you write the first email.
A new shell mould at Sunning Tension starts at USD 160 in PVC soft rubber, USD 500 in metal and USD 1,600 in ABS plastic.
| Material | Tooling cost | MOQ | Tooling lead time | Why you would choose it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PVC soft rubber | From USD 160 | 500 pieces | About 5 working days | Almost any shape, including soft, moulded and figurative forms. |
| Metal | From USD 500 | 3,000 pieces | About 12 working days | The most expensive-feeling shell, and it takes a laser-etched logo. |
| ABS plastic | From USD 1,600 | 5,000 pieces | About 15 working days | Lowest shell cost per piece at volume, with a hard, finished surface. |
Those minimum orders belong to the mould, not to the catalogue. A model that is already tooled starts at 20 pieces.
The PCBA production workshop
This is the half of the factory most suppliers do not have, and it is the half that decides whether your charger is still working in year two.
The board is where a wireless charger is actually good or bad. The coil and its ferrite decide how much power reaches the phone and how much becomes heat in the buyer's hand; the controller decides what happens when a coin, a key or a hotel keycard lands on the pad; the protection circuits decide what happens on a bad day.
Because the workshop is ours, incoming components are inspected against the specification we bought — not the one the supplier would prefer to have sold us — and when a batch fails at goods-in we know which reel it came from.
It is also why an engineering change is a real conversation. A different input port, a different output profile, a coil moved 3 mm to clear a magnet ring: these are jobs for people who work here.
Every product page publishes its rated output from that model's own specification table, never from a marketing line. Where the specification does not record one — most cables, and power banks rated in mAh — the page shows nothing rather than a number somebody guessed.
What the factory can actually do
Sunning Tension's rated output is 50,000 to 450,000 pieces per month, and production lead times on the catalogue run from 5 to 30 working days.

Come and audit us
An invitation is not a commitment, so here is the commitment.
Another customer's tooling, artwork or packaging — including anything sitting on the line that day.
It is the same undertaking we are making to you. A factory that will show you somebody else's mould will show somebody else yours.
- Arranged by
- Miss Lyn arranges factory visits — lyn@sunntc.com, +86 158 1429 9871, or WhatsApp.
- Notice
- Three working days' notice.
- Auditors
- Your own auditor or a third-party inspection body — SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV — is welcome on the same terms. So is a video walk-through if you cannot fly, and that takes one working day to arrange rather than three.
Third-party social-compliance audits — BSCI, Sedex/SMETA, ISO 9001 — are not claimed on this site. If we hold one, it will be published here with the audit body, the date and the reference. Nothing else belongs in that sentence.
Start with the specification
Send the model or a photograph of the shape you have in mind, the quantity, the destination country and your target landed cost. If one of the 147 tooled models fits, you will have a price and a lead time in one working day and no tooling bill at all.
