Buyer FAQ
The questions buyers actually ask
Ten questions, answered by the factory rather than by a sales page. Every answer here is the same one you will find on the product and company pages — written once, so it cannot disagree with itself.
Shenzhen Sunning Tension is a wireless charger factory in Baoan, Shenzhen, founded in 2007. Minimum orders run from 20 pieces, 89% of its 363 listings are 200 pieces or fewer, and 147 models are already tooled — so an order against an existing mould carries no tooling cost and no tooling lead time.
- 01
What's your minimum order?
Minimum orders at Shenzhen Sunning Tension run from 20 pieces to 3,000 pieces depending on the model, and 326 of the 363 listings — 89% — are 200 pieces or fewer. The most common minimum is 100 pieces. If you are ordering a model that is already tooled, the low end of that range is genuinely available to you; the higher minimums belong to models with an expensive shell. A new mould of your own carries its own minimum: 500 pieces in PVC, 3,000 in metal, 5,000 in ABS.
- 02
Can I get a sample before I order?
Yes — Shenzhen Sunning Tension supplies samples of any tooled model, and of your artwork printed on one, before a production order. Sample cost and sample freight are quoted per model rather than published, because a USD 0.69 cable and a USD 33.99 embedded charger are not the same conversation. Ask Miss Lyn for the sample cost at the same time as the quotation and both come back in the same reply, within one working day.
- 03
Can you put my logo on it?
Yes, and on a model that is already tooled it carries no tooling cost — Shenzhen Sunning Tension prints logos in one colour or full colour, and artwork setup is free. Minimum order for logo work starts at a few dozen pieces. Metal shells can be laser-etched instead of printed. Send vector artwork rather than a photograph of a business card and the first sample is right the first time.
- 04
How much does a custom mould cost, and how long does it take?
A new shell mould at Shenzhen Sunning Tension starts at USD 160 in PVC soft rubber, USD 500 in metal and USD 1,600 in ABS plastic, taking about 5, 12 and 15 working days respectively. Those days come before production starts, not inside the production lead time. Each material carries its own minimum order — 500 pieces in PVC, 3,000 in metal, 5,000 in ABS. Before you budget for any of it, send us the shape: the mould rack holds hundreds of existing styles and 147 tooled models are already published in the catalogue, so the shape you want may cost you nothing at all.
- 05
How long from order to shipment?
Production lead times at Shenzhen Sunning Tension run from 5 to 30 working days, and 206 of the 363 listings quote 5 to 15. Rated capacity is 50,000 to 450,000 pieces per month depending on the model, so quantity moves the date less than most buyers expect. Add tooling time on top if you are cutting a new mould — about 5 working days for PVC, 12 for metal, 15 for ABS — and add your own approval time for the first article, which is usually the longest step nobody plans for.
- 06
Do you have FCC, CE and RoHS?
Yes — Shenzhen Sunning Tension holds FCC, CE and RoHS documentation for the markets it ships to, held per model rather than as a company-wide badge. Name the model and the market and the file itself is emailed to you. You will not find a certificate number or a scanned certificate on this website, and that is deliberate: a certificate published as a picture proves nothing, and one quoted against the wrong configuration is worse than none. Anything with a lithium cell also has UN38.3 and an MSDS for your freight forwarder.
- 07
How do I pay, and what are the terms?
Shenzhen Sunning Tension accepts T/T bank transfer and Western Union on every model, and L/C on some orders — ask when you request the quotation. The deposit split is stated on your proforma invoice before you commit to anything. Our bank details are never published on this website and never sent from a free email address: if you receive payment instructions that do not come from lyn@sunntc.com, telephone +86 755 2907 4277 before you send anything.
- 08
How does it ship, and who arranges the freight?
Every price published by Shenzhen Sunning Tension is ex-works Shenzhen: it covers the goods, not freight, duty or insurance. Tell Miss Lyn the destination port and the term you work on and it is quoted that way instead. Your own forwarder can collect from the factory in Bao'an District, Shenzhen. One thing to raise early: the power-bank models contain lithium cells and travel as dangerous goods, so ask for the UN38.3 test summary and the MSDS with the quotation rather than the week the container books.
- 09
Are you really the factory, or a middleman?
Shenzhen Sunning Tension is the factory: it owns its injection-mould shop and its PCBA production workshop in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, employs 100 to 120 people, and has been building charging products since 2007. The check that settles it is not a paragraph on a website — it is a visit. Three working days' notice and you can walk the mould rack, the PCBA workshop, the assembly line and the inspection bench, or send your own auditor. A video walk-through takes one working day. A reseller cannot offer either.
- 10
If I send you my design, will it end up on your website?
No. Shenzhen Sunning Tension publishes no customer's name, artwork or drawings, and every model in this catalogue is shown de-branded for exactly that reason. Send an NDA with your first email and it is signed before we quote. Drawings and artwork go to Miss Lyn and to the engineer who prices them; they are not shown to another customer and not used to develop a product of our own — we have no brand of our own to develop one for, and we never will be on the shelf beside you.
